Fair Information


The European Higher Education Fair took place in Bangkok on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th November 2006 at the Queen Sirikit Exhibition Center and attracted more than 31 000 visitors (official figures provided by the Office of the Civil Service Commission, OCSC). The fair was located within the 3rd OCSC International Education Expo and enabled students, their parents and their study advisors and sponsors to find out more about study opportunities in Europe.

93 Higher education institutions and 18 National Representations from 21 EU Member States exhibited at the Fair.

23 country presentations were also made by the National structures on their higher education system and study and scholarship opportunities.


Participation cost EUR 750 per higher education institution, which covered:

  • request for free participation in the Asia Link Symposium on 10th November 2006
  • approximately 6 square metres of exhibition space for two days: 11th-12th November 2006
  • standard booth (approx. 3m x 2m with fascia board and surrounding walls)
  • basic furniture and facilities in the booth (1 lockable cupboard, 4 chairs, 1 table, carpeted floor, 1 wastepaper bin, electric outlet, air-conditioning during opening hours, and basic cleaning and security services)
  • one entry in the official EHEF catalogue

Freight forwarding
Exhibitors are responsible for the transportation of their exhibition materials to the European Higher Education Fair in Bangkok. Exhibitors may use the contractor of their choice.

Via their worldwide network of agents, Schenker will co-ordinate the movement of exhibition materials from their various points of origin in Europe to the Exhibition Hall (Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Bangkok).

Full details will be sent to exhibitors.

Any contractual arrangement between an exhibitor and the freight forwarder is solely an arrangement between the two parties. The implementing agencies/organisers will not be liable in the event of services or payments between the freight forwarder and an exhibitor not being provided as contractually agreed upon.

Insurance
Your shipment will not be insured by the organisers. In case you wish it to be insured, please procure insurance yourself.

Documentation
Full details of documentation requirements for Thailand and consignee details will be circulated to all exhibitors by Schenker in due time.

Whichever freight forwarding company you choose to use, further details on transportation, delivery and labelling will be available in the exhibitor manual which selected exhibitors will receive by email.
